A Formal Wedding for Laura and Christian Featured in Carats + Cakes

Laura and Christian’s NYC wedding at The Ritz-Carlton NoMad was pure elegance, and I was so honored to be their hair and makeup artist!

Laura wanted a fresh, natural bridal makeup look, classic, glowy and refined.

She doesn’t wear makeup on a regular basis, so, it was really important for her to look like herself, but polished and wear a makeup that also photographed well.

We went with soft, radiant makeup that highlighted her features without any heavy layers or intense colors.

For her bridal hairstyle we did very romantic half-up, half-down with delicate pearl details that paired beautifully with her all-white florals. Her look definitely felt timeless and elevated.

I also did her hair and makeup for the rehearsal dinner the night before, so she looked and felt amazing all weekend long.

The entire getting-ready process was relaxed, joyful, and stress-free, exactly how a wedding morning should be. And yes, their sweet pup was part of the day, dressed according for the occasion.
